School Merger with West Leeds

The planning for the new school continues. The building design is almost completed and the senior leadership teams of Wortley and West Leeds have begun a series of meetings to plan for the new school curriculum, staffing and merger of the two schools in September 2009.

Discussions about the name for the new school are starting with students & staff from both schools being asked for their opinions. The temporary governing body will be looking to make the decision soon.
